Working with filters

The filters that are built in Photonyx let you apply special filters to your images. There is already a huge list of special filter you may apply to your images.

To apply a filter to your project you first have to define a zone where it will be applied. You can apply special filters to selections or to objects. In fact, filters are applied to the current selection in the current object.

If you have made a selection the filter will be constraint to the selection you've made. Learn how to make selections.

If you haven't made any selection (or if you've selected the whole current object ctrl + A) the default zone will the whole current object. To change the currently selected object click in the Objects palette.

You than have to choose the filter to apply :

• Select it : F/X > "filter category" > "filter"
